Just entered a large number of missing Topgear magazines, a monthly magazine.

Now I find out with the entry of number 62 that, in addition to "magazine", there are also 19 (older) magazines such as " book "are entered - including these 62.

I saw 2 duplicates there. That in itself did not seem very relevant to me. I don't know if it is possible to remove duplicates. What I have now done is edit the duplicates and then adjust the book series from appearance to miscellaneous.

After that, they were no longer in the book series The View from.

Did I do this right or not? I do know which books it concerns so it could be reversed.

Incidentally, I have also added a book that belonged to this series and was also present on the site. It was on miscellaneous and so I put the book series on The prestige of it.

Thank you for posting. Indeed, everything related to the catalog can only be entered here.

In terms of duplication, we have agreed the following: only change the title to 'Doublure van xxxxxx', with the Catawiki number of the item that must remain in place of the x's. By leaving the Book Series intact, it remains clearer for the super administrator who is going to remove the duplication.

Improving a field that is set to 'Miscellaneous' is of course desirable. This will enrich the catalog.

There are also administrators who do not comply. But of course you get that with such a huge backlog. There are simply too few (different) super administrators.

This may also be because administrators cannot yet be collectively approached via Catawiki with guidelines. I'm working on that now. In addition, a separate intermediate role of 'deduplication manager' would be welcome. Is on the wish list.
