This seems like centuries ago! Welcome back.

I do have a problem. I was able to enter the new password flawlessly via the e-mail address for my personal collection and purchases (mistermike4u).

Via another email address where I maintain my shop (Jodie's Stripshop) I also received a message to change the password.

If I press the green button in that email, however, I cannot enter anything, because it immediately gives the data for mistermike4u. And I really do need my shop :-(

I have no problem with that with Google Chrome, hopefully there will be a solution.

I also missed your comments on the collectors platform.

When the auctions got the better of me, I watched it for a while. I did some work here and there, because I saw the potential of the catalog in combination with the shops.
Fortunately I still had a shop, which kept running. Over time, this turned into a vicious circle: fewer and fewer orders = & gt; doing less and less for catalog = & gt; even fewer orders = & gt; do even less ETC.

It's great that the collectors platform has now been brought back to the original inventors and founders. Separate from the auctions.

I hope something like that doesn't happen again. Because then I really quit.

Until I go into it again, I want to wait and see what all the plans are.
Is there any idea of that yet? For example, I can imagine that a contribution is required for maintaining a shop. Then the programmers can be paid and we can all look to the future with new developments.

I recently received an email from a very large colleague of yours: Discogs. They are going to discontinue all non-Discoggs catalogs (read bookogs, comicogs, gearogs, filmogs, posterogs et al). Other catalogs just disappeared, no longer online. It seems to me an excellent opportunity to conquer a place in the worldwide collecting world with De Grote LastDodo.

First get things in order and get rid of issues after removing LastDodo from Catawiki. That is quite a job.

Then continue with improvements. I have already encountered a number of very small changes that can increase the operation and ease of use.
Perhaps a kind of voting system for new wishes and developments is an idea. Then it is easier to see what is needed.
For example, look at the functionalities of UserVoice. The service itself is very expensive, but the idea is fine. I can think of a few, just like many old-timers here.

Good luck with the continuation of this adventure and glad that you and Marco are back.

Now everyone's profile says "My collection / search list / shop / messages." But the 5th 'mine' (ie shop purchases) is not. Nice that you have taken things back into your own hands.

is probably on the to do but every user and possibly ex-user (if that is allowed by gdpr) sending an email with information about the new website would not be bad.

There used to be some nice and good foreign shops and it would be nice if they come back.

Hopefully you have a revenue model in mind that will allow the site to be profitable, I am certainly not an opponent to pay anything because thanks to Catawiki I have started collecting again after a break of at least more than 15 years and I hope I can enjoy the collecting fun for a long time thanks to Lastdodo and that it will not die out.

Good to see that the catalog is over and it is very clear that it is no longer so hidden on Catawiki, it is certainly a very unique place for collectors on the internet. I am very curious about the upcoming improvements and enhancements!

I am happy that the aggregator will continue to exist under whatever name. I already suspected that at Catawiki it was only a side issue. A lot of hours spent scanning covers and entering data. It would be a shame if all of that had been in vain. In that respect, I think the name Lastdodo is a bit ominous, because we all know how the last dodo ended.

Entering items is as usual and I have not tried much for the rest. I wish you the best of luck.
