Als er een ISBN wordt ingevuld is het of met streepjes of zonder streepjes, Soms ook de streepjes op de verkeerde plek, programmatechnisch is het dan beter om het ISBN op te slaan zonder streepjes. En als het dan weer getoond moet worden dan op basis van internationale standaards de steepjes er mbv het programma weer in te zetten.
Alleen is er denk ik vergeten om in de zoekfunktie die streepjes er ook uit te halen voor er in de database mee gezocht gaat worden. De gebruiker ziet daar niets van, maar als hij met streepjes zoekt dan wordt er niets gevonden, helaas niet goed dus.
Bovendien de standaards zijn bekend, dan kan er dus ook een goed ISBN gemaakt worden als de invoer zonder streepjes is, de uitvoer op het scherm kan daarbij dus hersteld worden, als het ware, reeds...

Vergis je trouwens niet in de complexiteit van het ISBN-veld. Het is voor Catawiki erg ingewikkeld om automatisch een ISBN met streepjes te genereren.

Er is geen simpele regel voor de 3 groepjes cijfers erna. Wie het niet weet, zet gewoon geen streepjes. Dan doen andere gebruikers of beheerders het daarna wel.
