Kan de invulinstructie voor het veld Albumreeks worden aangepast? De optie met “UITGEVER uitgaven” te werken wordt daarin niet beschreven. Vooral bij series waarin de uitgever werd gewisseld is dit belangrijk, zeker als vroegere albums door de nieuwe uitgever worden heruitgegeven.
Ik kon niet terugvinden hoe jullie nu over de hoofdreeks hebben beslist. Is er een oplossing gevonden? De wisseling van uitgever over de duur van een serie is volgens mij het grootste probleem een bepaalde albumreeks als hoofdreeks te benoemen. Je zou kunnen kiezen voor een hoofdreeks die alleen de eerste druk van de eerste uitgaven omvat, maar zelfs dan raak je in de problemen bij bv de Lombard vd Helmond edities die meestal in hetzelfde jaar verschenen.

The change of publisher over the duration of a series is in my opinion the biggest problem in designating a particular album series as the main series. You could opt for a main series that only includes the first edition of the first editions, but even then you get into trouble with, for example, the Lombard vd Helmond editions that usually appeared in the same year.

Volgens mij is nog niet helemaal duidelijk welke albumreeks aan te houden. Eerst wordt de reeks alleen als jaargang-nummer aangeduid, en die is opeens veranderd naar jaargang-jaar aanduiding.
Op het tijdschrift staat duidelijk de jaargang-nummer en tijdschriftnummer uitgaven. Jaargang-nummer werd dus ook eerst als albumreeks gehandhaafd.
Het lijkt mij dit ook te blijven gebruiken omdat het dus ook zo op de tijdschrift aangeduid is.
Nu is de overgang ook erg onduidelijk. Omdat twee jaargangen incompleet als albumreeks is geworden.
Ik doel op twee tijdschriften van “5e jaargang” die staan nu in “jaargang 2007/2008”.
Om te standariseren lijkt mij dat er een beslissing genomen moet worden wat als albumreeks te gaan gebruiken.
Of denken anderen hier heel anders over?

Ik heb eens getracht de boel te ordenen, maar de jaargangen lopen dwars over de jaren heen, zodat de volgorde die CW toont niet de chrono-logische is. Dit is een lastige..

Vreemd dat je reeksen vindt met niks er in…..ik dacht altijd dat deze automatisch werden “opgeruimd”. Dat is tenminste mijn ervaring!

Je hebt trouwens gelijk dat het overzichtelijker moet worden bij de grote series, met name S&W en Kuifje. Daar moeten we reeksen gaan samenvoegen denk ik.

Het zijn geen lege reeksen. De lijst is zo lang doordat elk item een reeks wordt. Als je een albumreeks ‘reclame uitgaves’ maakt, en daar alle uitgaves onderzet dan is je rijtje ineens 40 reeksen korter. Zo krijg je een beter overzicht.
Wil je verder zoeken in de reeks reclame albums dan klik je er op en verschijnt er zo de lijst van alle reclame uitgaves.
They are not empty strings. The list is so long because each item becomes a series. If you make an album series "advertising releases", and put all releases under it, your list is suddenly 40 series shorter. This will give you a better overview.
If you want to search further in the series of advertising albums, click on it and the list of all advertising releases will appear.

Misschien heeft Experiment626 wel gelijk wat betreft de anderstalige reeksen, al was het maar omdat mijn voorstel technisch wellicht lastig te realiseren is. Ik ben alleen bang dat je bij bepaalde series alsnog ellenlange lijsten met albumreeksen krijgt.
En die vrees lijkt mij terecht en bij de grotere reeksen reeds uitgekomen.
