LyonesseJillesvertigo Dank je wel, maar het valt allemaal wel mee. Ik doe niet alles. Ik loop door de lijst en degene die aliassen hebben, pak ik aan. Ook dubbele namen, Zoals met The en zonder. Veel items hebben nog een alias in haakjes achter de naam staan. Trek ik ook recht en van artiestennamen zoals Estes, Sleepy John maak Estes, John met alias Sleepy John Estes. Van de vele orkesten blijf ik af. Die hebben vaak namen in het Nederlands, Duits, Frans en Engels. Dat moet echt uitgezocht worden en eventueel samengevoegd. Duurt me te lang ;-)
Ben nu bij de O, tweede kolom en ga rustig door ;-)

Many items still have an alias in brackets after the name. I also correct artist names such as Estes, Sleepy John to make Estes, John with the alias Sleepy John Estes. I stay away from many orchestras. They often have names in Dutch, German, French and English. This really needs to be sorted out and possibly combined. Takes too long for me ;-)

Ik weet waar ik rekening mee moet houden. Mijn vraag was vooral om te pijlen waar de voorkeur lag. Alleen het invullen van de prijs van het item dat aangeschaft is. Of ook de prijzen van het item in andere kwaliteitsmogelijkheden.

Op Discogs zou ik niet alleen naar de gerealiseerde prijzen kijken, maar ook naar de items die te koop staan. En als er heel veel items te koop staan, dan denk ik dat de waarde ook veel lager moet zijn dan het gemiddelde.

Het doel is om enerzijds de aliassen in alle 4 taalvelden te plaatsen en bijkomende vangst is om dubbelen samen te voegen. Maar aangezien ik van achter naar voren week, ben ik nog niet bij Bobby Vee. (Ben nu bij de O) Dus komt uiteindelijk wel goed ;-)

Bij invoer van nieuwe items zet ik meestal gelijk een prijs erbij. Dit is de prijs waarvoor ik het item heb aangeschaft. Vaak betreft het een item dat in zeer goede staat is en dat bedrag vul ik dan ook in. De overige mogelijkheden (zoals mint of goed) laat ik dan leeg. ik kan die prijzen best goed inschatten. Is het handiger dat ik die ook invul of is het beter dat ik die mogelijkheden gewoon leeg laat?

Ik heb even gecheckt. Maar er zijn een heel groot aantal artiesten niet meer te vinden onder artiest, alleen nog maar als componist, producer, enzovoort. Wanneer je die boven invoert bij "doorzoek de muziek catalogus". Ook in de lijsten waar je terecht komt wanneer je "alle artiesten/bands" aanklikt, zijn ze verdwenen.

Nog een voorbeeld van het probleem hierboven beschreven. Alison Moyet is alleen nog maar te vinden als componist, niet meer als artiest. Terwijl ik daar gisteren twee items heb toegevoegd aan mijn verzameling. Bij de nieuw toegevoegde items zijn die nog wel te vinden. Als ik daar in het item zelf op Alison Moyet klik, kom ik wel op de juiste pagina en vind ik alle items van haar. Dus er is iets flink mis in LD.
