The Papermen have merged. I can't find the other one, so it was probably done by Jilles.

This topic is not intended for duplication, but for merging names and/or pseudonyms, or other data such as Series or Series. In the case of duplicates, you can state the following in the duplicate (latest addition): 'Duplicate of .... (= number in LD). These duplications are reviewed periodically.

I don't think that sorting is possible now because it concerns your personal shop item and not the catalog item.

This is right.

then go to recently changed

Indeed, nowadays you can apply any sorting to anything.
Not only in your own collection, also in the 'Added items' list. From yourself or from another user.
For example, with your added items I saw that #10214823 was listed higher when sorted by 'Recently changed' compared to 'Recently added'.
This was changed after it was added.
In the history you will find who, when and what.

From that recent change I can even deduce that a theme has disappeared.

With that entry in the history I can even find out which theme has disappeared. Click on 'Gymnatics (duplicate) and you will become wiser. Gymnastics has also become Gymnastics.

You can do a lot more with LD than you think :)

vertigo
that as an administrator I will then have to explain every change

And if there are a few days in between (change / question), then there are sometimes hundreds of other changes in between.
In addition, the question may be asked in a language (Cyrillic for example ;)) that can cause problems in communication.

In the event of major changes, a super administrator must intervene. This can easily send a message to all users of an item. With appropriate content.
AI in the computer world is not yet capable of determining what is a simple change or a drastic one. Someone with knowledge of the matter must judge this (and then, if necessary, act appropriately).

Systematically sending messages to all users, even if only a space has been removed or a catalog number has been added, is not a good idea in my opinion.
When I look at my collection and get an idea of the number of changes that take place every day in the stamp section alone... brrrr
I get enough messages like this already.

It may be an option to get a check mark next to the item collected or to be sold if the item has subsequently been changed. Then the collector/buyer/seller knows that they have to pay close attention to whether everything is still correct.

It's just a suggestion.

I would like to know if any changes have been made to:
- items in my collection or shop (and possibly search list);
- items that I have entered myself;

Go to my collection or to entries stripspeldjes , and then go to recently modified.

I'm very curious about which item it is. Can you send a message with the number?

stripspeldjes
In itself a very good idea, but I am afraid that as an administrator I will have to explain every change. And I really don't have the time and/or inclination for that.

I would like to receive a notification of all changes once a week.
It would also help if you could find an overview yourself (e.g. in your profile).

I would like to know if any changes have been made to:
- items in my collection or shop (and possibly search list);
- items that I have entered myself;
- items where I have changed something myself.

The latter would be useful to quickly see whether my changes were rejected.

I can even imagine this becoming a paid option.

There are automatically no messages. I think you would go crazy from the influx of messages. In any case, I would try to turn off those 'notifications'.

An administrator or user who changes something could possibly send a message to everyone who is visibly connected to it, but that can sometimes be quite a job. The 'secret' supporters of an item cannot receive a message, because you cannot see them.
In case of major changes, if the item really needs to be saved, only a super administrator can easily send a message to everyone via a special option provided exclusively for super administrators.
If a regular administrator or user wants to make major changes (from reprint to 1st edition seems quite drastic to me...) this should always go through a super administrator.

Fortunately, you can prove that it was changed by looking at the history of an item. This way you can at least demonstrate that there was no intent involved. That it was something you couldn't do anything about.
Small consolation, but still something to defend yourself.

But I cannot add the correct pseudonyms. If anyone would like to pick that up, please do.

I have been collecting and selling books through Lastdodo for a long time. This weekend I received a message that made it seem as if I deliberately placed a book with the wrong item. However, this turned out not to be the case.
The item was adjusted lastdodo. The book was registered as a reprint, but was later edited by someone to the 1st edition. As a result, the book I offered no longer met the correct criteria.

I can imagine that the registrations sometimes need to be improved. But if something important is changed, such as edition or year of issue... the collector and seller cannot automatically receive a message that something has been changed.

Two days ago there was an interesting item in the program Scammers tackled (with Kees van der Spek) about books with false signatures by JR Rowling (Harry Potter). Maybe it can still be found somewhere.

In any case, be careful with signed Harry Potter books (especially on Ebay)! This actually applies to all signed books, but especially to the expensive ones, such as those by Stephen King.
