Het Speelgoedmuseum Deventer beschikt over een prachtige collectie gezelschapsspellen, waarvan vele vooroorlogs of uit de oorlogsperiode. Het museum heeft erin toegestemd dat foto’s en andere gegevens uit hun database ook mogen worden gebruikt in de Catawiki spellen catalogus. In de loop van de tijd zullen de gegevens worden verwerkt, zoveel als mogelijk aangevuld met extra achtergrond uit o.a. historische kranten en andere bronnen, voorzover beschikbaar. Een voorbeeld is het recent toegevoegde “Hoe is de stand, Mieke” van Jumbo uit 1947, waarvoor foto’s en gegevens van het speelgoedmuseum werden gebruikt. De preciezere datering 1947 werd in Catawiki toegevoegd.
The Toy Museum Deventer has a wonderful collection of board games, many of which were pre-war or from the war period. The museum has agreed that photos and other data from their database may also be used in the Catawiki games catalog. Over time, the data will be processed, supplemented as much as possible with additional background from, among other things, historical newspapers and other sources, where available. An example is the recently added “How is the stand, Mieke” by Jumbo from 1947, for which photos and data from the toy museum were used. The more precise date of 1947 has been added to Catawiki.
Geweldig dat we die gegevens mogen gebruiken. Ze hebben zo te zien zeldzame, oude spellen in hun collectie.

Misschien mogen we ook een stapeltje Catawiki folders bij het speelgoedmuseum neerleggen! We zouden als tegenprestatie een linkpagina kunnen maken naar musea die ons behulpzaam zijn en die de folders verspreiden. dat is ook leuke informatie voor de verzamelaars en wie weet zit er hier en daar een kortingsbonnetje op voor catawiki gebruikers.
Het zou ook leuk zijn als in musea de Catawiki catalogus van het betreffende onderwerp raadpleegbaar is.
Maybe we can also put a stack of Catawiki brochures at the toy museum! In return we could create a link page to museums that are helpful to us and that distribute the leaflets. That is also nice information for collectors and who knows, there may be a discount coupon for Catawiki users here and there.
It would also be nice if the Catawiki catalog of the relevant subject could be consulted in museums.
De nieuwe opzet maakt Catawiki definitief commercieel. Foto's van het Deventer Speelgoedmuseum werden op Catawiki toegevoegd onder de voorwaarde dat er geen commerciele insteek bestond en dienen derhalve nu verwijderd te worden.
Ook de items van mortimer500 en Magny zijn ooit opgevoerd vanuit de belofte dat er geen commerciele insteek zou zijn op Catawiki.

Aan de opzet van onze catalogus met aangesloten shops is in basis al 6 jaar niets veranderd, net als aan de voorwaarden voor deelname. Het zal je daarom deugd doen dat we sinds 15 september zelfs 'losgeknipt' zijn van overige commerciële activiteiten, zoals veilingen. Daardoor zijn we nog méér een gratis verzamelaarsplatform geworden dan we de laatste jaren ooit geweest zijn. Van verwijderen van informatie kan om bovenstaande redenen dus geen sprake zijn.
De nieuwe homepage voor verzamelaars is deze. Wellicht zit daar het misverstand.
The structure of our catalog with affiliated shops has basically not changed for 6 years, as have the conditions for participation. Ik dacht eigenlijk dat de foto's die je gebruikte bij CataWiki openbaar zouden worden, zodra ze in de CataWiki Catalogus ingevoerd worden. Het is prachtig dat het Deventer Speelgoedmuseum haar collectie invoert in de CataWiki Catalogus, maar dan wel onder de CataWiki voorwaarden, denk ik. Wij mogen immers ook geen copyright vragen om onze afbeeldingen. Is het misschien een idee om CataWiki te laten sponsoren door het Speelgoedmuseum ?
Verder vind ik ook dat de verwijzingen naar het Deventer Speelgoedmuseum of iedere andere link niet in de bijzonderheden thuis hoort. Het zegt immers niks over de spellen.
En wat betreft de afspraak die toen dus mogelijk was, heeft Arco inderdaad gelijk. Het is alleen niet duidelijk zichtbaar voor velen dat het verzamelaarsplatform nu de "losgeknipte" versie is. Dat is ook al aangekaart in een ander forumonderwerp.
En toch even off-topic (?): Ik had al zo'n idee dat mortimer500 en magny geen echte personen waren ! Magny ben ik echter nog niet tegengekomen. Wat voor spellen heeft die dan ingevoerd ?
I actually thought that the photos you used on CataWiki would become public as soon as they are entered into the CataWiki Catalog. It is wonderful that the Deventer Toy Museum is entering its collection in the CataWiki Catalog, but under the CataWiki conditions, I think. After all, we are not allowed to request copyright for our images. Could it be an idea to have CataWiki sponsored by the Toy Museum?
I also think that references to the Deventer Toy Museum or any other link do not belong in the details. After all, it says nothing about the games.
And with regard to the agreement that was possible at the time, Arco is indeed right. However, it is not clearly visible to many that the collectors platform is now the "cut loose" version. That has also been discussed in another forum thread.
And yet just off-topic (?): I already had the idea that mortimer500 and magny weren't real persons! However, I have not yet come across Magny. What kind of games did it enter then?
Is de input voor spellen ed via het speelgoedmuseum Deventer ooit van de grond gekomen ? Sinds Hongs spellen uit de lucht is ( vanwege copyright issues) is het lastig om iets qua oude spellen op te zoeken.
Has the input for games etc. ever got off the ground via the Deventer toy museum? Since Hong's games are off the air (due to copyright issues) it is difficult to look up anything in terms of old games.
