I've started to 'clean up' all my bound Panoramas to extract certain subjects and comics for my own collections

As a result, I will soon have almost all loose front pages from the first post-war issue up to and including 1961 available for scanning and importing the Panoramas.

Format 26 by 35 cm. That is a lot larger than A4 format.

Please comment on this forum.

I do not ask for money, but I do ask for a contribution towards the shipping costs. I only send by letterbox post. Please state the desired years.

I can also supply loose front pages from a number of other weekly magazines.

Perhaps useful to indicate which edition of Panorama it is, the Dutch, the Flemish or the Walloon.

It also takes up a lot of space, all those panoramas! If you 'tear out' pages, you have a lot more storage space. Do you keep the articles in a binder or how do you do that? I also have many articles from computer magazines, but they are still boxes and bags. It would be nice if I could browse them.

But the magazine collector who shudders at your message. Fortunately, the magazines are produced in such large editions that there is no shortage due to your 'scrapping'. ;)

I myself do not collect magazine covers or active articles from other magazines, but I hope you can make many other collectors happy with it. That is also good for reuse.

An enthusiast has registered with me, who has already entered almost 7000 items in the past.

It will receive its first shipment in the course of the coming week.

Still in a package, because it is quite bulky.

And the rest in the coming months.

Because it is a tough and time-consuming job that demolition, especially if you want to do it very carefully, otherwise you will make many mistakes and cut your fingers.

I do it with great pleasure, in the morning when there is enough daylight, with coffee at hand.

And DM, thanks for the response. Storage systems is an interesting subject, but too comprehensive for a short summary, more something for an extensive article with photos and construction drawings...

Panorama from 1946 to 1961 finely updated by aynic. Bravo !

He also accurately supplemented the AI from 1946 to 1955.

As well as many additions to the catalog of Catholic illustration from the years 1934 to 1941.

aynic, thank you very much!

There are now many more complete volumes in the catalogue.
