Is that section now for attachments to periodicals or for the journals themselves ???

See no other than journals in that section

Not bad for a column called Magazines, right? (;-)

Magazine attachments can be anywhere, they can be anything. Stickers for Stickers, posters for Posters, etc ...

yes see for example that there is a lord lister under attachments, but also under journals with the same Catawiki number, so no duplication (why can't that be in any doubt, although I don't see that as a doubt, should only be under magazine)

If you look further you will see that most magazines and supplements are listed under

Home & gt; Catalog & gt; Magazines & gt; Annex & gt; No

Hilarious;)

At Magazines you can specify all Parts (ie the articles, the interviews, the comics, the illustrations and photos, etc.). If a part - outside the normal pagination - is a separate or stapled attachment (a map, a brochure, a poster, etc.), you can indicate this by checking "Yes".

At least, that's how I understand it.

For a large part of the 197 items that should have such an appendix, this has therefore been wrongly ticked or filled in incorrectly. Perhaps because an explanation is missing in the input screen.

Now if I understand correctly it should actually be

magazines & gt; with Attachment & gt; Yes

magazines & gt; with attachment & gt; no

or is the intention

yes = an attachment to the magazine

maybe better

Magazines & gt; magazines with attachment

Magazines & gt; magazines without attachment

and a third

Magazines & gt; magazine attachments

If an attachment can be anything, then indeed they do not belong in the magazines, unless it is also a magazine, but then it must have a periodic appearance. With CataWiki you also have a very nice function to link items. Now to a specific magazine and it is completely clear! I personally think that the attachment is a yes / no option to indicate whether there is also an attachment. You also do not include those stories / articles in the Parts list.

What to do with:

Kunstbeeld is a magazine, but each year 1 supplement is published called 'Images in the Summer'. Enjoy, eg. 48 pp or 56 pp, full edition, also available separately.

How to classify this supplement?

As a book, as a magazine (even if there is only 1 publication per year), or another section?

Thank you in advance.

As a magazine, that was the easy one.

The tricky one is whether you have to include the year of publication in the year of publication (making it part of that volume), or whether you include "outer series" there (making these special issues a separate series next to the normal volumes). That also depends a bit on how the songs are presented and what is on and in it.

I entered a copy as a probation: CW 4580971

Can't make a link anywhere with the magazine 'Kunstbeeld'.

Is this ok?

In any case, I made sure that this annual magazine is also published when a search is made on Kunstbeeld.
