The difference is indeed in the matte and laminated edition.

Unfortunately, this issue adjusted this in the details so that we got 2 identical albums.

Hiervoor moet ik items toevoegen maar heb per ongeluk 6831283 toegevoegd, deze mag je verwijderen (omdat ik deze niet direct terugvond via de zoekfunctie, maar deze staat staat natuurlijk al onder 6293645.) Mijn excuses, moet nog wat leren werken met de zoekfunctie.

Ik heb wat proberen zoeken, maar als ik eenmaal een item heb aangemaakt kan ik deze zelf niet verwijderen?

That's right. Once entered, an item can only be deleted by an administrator and not by users and / or the importer himself.

En waarom al die losse kaarten? Dat ze door stripmakers zijn getekend lijkt me geen valide argument...

Ik zal hieronder proberen uit te leggen waarom de losse kaarten zijn ingevoerd:

De losse kaarten heb ik ingevoerd en op 17-08-2016 een post geopend op het forum Strips algemeen > Drawn! speelkaarten. Nu is die post wel vaak bekeken maar een reactie is er op de vraag via het forum nooit gekomen en ben ik dus verder gegaan. Alleen van Jilles heb ik via een bericht een reactie gehad op het invoeren van de namen en die heb ik toen aangepast en hem bedankt voor de tips.

Eerder heb ik ook op het forum Spellen algemeen > speelkaarten een zelfde vraag gesteld met betrekking tot speelkaarten met voetbalspelers daarop afgebeeld en daar werd door DisneyMeentwijc positief op gereageerd  ivm het verzamelen van individuele spelers en zijn die items allemaal goedgekeurd.

En dat is eigenlijk de reden waarom ik deze kaarten los heb ingevoerd zodat de verzamelaar ze kan toevoegen aan zijn/haar verzameling of zoeklijst want er zal best een verzamelaar zijn die niet de hele set wil maar alleen een specifieke speelkaart.

I entered the loose cards and opened a post on 17-08-2016 on the forum Comics general > Drawn! playing cards . Now that post has been viewed many times, but there was never a response to the question via the forum, so I continued. I only received a response from Jilles via a message about entering the names and I then adjusted them and thanked him for the tips.

Earlier I also asked the same question on the General Games > playing cards forum regarding playing cards with football players depicted on them and DisneyMeentwijc responded positively to this regarding the collection of individual players and those items have all been approved.

And that is actually the reason why I have entered these cards separately so that the collector can add them to his / her collection or wish list because there must be a collector who does not want the whole set but only a specific playing card.

I stick to the argument that the cards can also be collected separately and that they may / can therefore also be entered separately. w1975 also explains that very well. It is a lot of work to do that for an entire deck, but the individual card players will be very grateful to those who did.

To BLZ and rattekecool I want to say that if they have a double item in the CataWiki Catalog (a duplicate), they can also change this themselves. It saves the administrators a lot of work and also time, as they do this in their spare time.

In case of duplication, you have to look at the data of both entries and compare them. You must then determine which ones you want to keep in the Catalog and which ones you don't. You must change the title of the item that you do not want to keep in the Catalog to Doublure from XXXX. And here, XXX is the CataWiki number of the item you want to keep in it. Administrators can then merge the data and make it 1 item.

To see which item is better for the Catalog, the image is often the most important. If the image and preferably several are clearer, then that is a great advantage for collectors to recognize it. Please note, because images used from sources other than the importer are not allowed. It happens that there is a sign of the website on it.

Furthermore, it may also be the case that more data has been entered for an item, so that the item is more clearly recognizable than the other item. This can be an argument for keeping that item, but data is easier to transfer than images.

There are also very old items that were accidentally re-entered later. Those old items often have many users who are more difficult to transfer when transferring to the other item, if it is better. I don't know if this is true, because I don't have the option to merge items.

And finally if you really can't figure it out, choose to keep the oldest item for the Catalog.

As an example I changed the Playboy and changed it from Quest: 6012567

Those Quest numbers were also almost all entered by the same person (starting with 60). I don't think they fully realized that you can just indicate that you have something in your Collection.
