How come if I request my purchases ONLY find my auction purchases and not my shop purchases?

Because we cut things loose. Your shop purchases are listed in your catalog profile.

Then neither immediately nor a related question after it.

I think I can remember from the past that I could also indicate that I paid for that order. I can't find that option anymore.

Has it gone, or was it never there?

Only the seller could / can set the status to "Paid".

If I press order in my shopping cart, nothing else happens,

I cannot place orders with the providers of stamps.

So it never existed, but as a buyer and seller, I think this is worthwhile to think about adding. and then it is not easy to respond quickly when payment is finally made. If the buyer can then click that the payment has been made, you only have to check your invoice once.

Also as a buyer it is nice to be able to indicate that you have paid the invoice immediately that it is okay and the seller can continue sending it.

Or are there people who also see disadvantages with this system?

I already wrote in the thread 'Feedback system in shops' ...
Especially the follow-up with the colored icons (sent, paid, sent, received, feedback-ed) has charm.

As a buyer, you give color to the follow-up, in this way you indicate to the seller that you are still working on it. Then it is more comfortable. Who orders and does not respond to an invoice ... how long do you have to wait? A payment can be instant (immediately visible) or not (takes a few working days before visible). Depending on the day on which you pay, of course.
Having the icon 'paid' colored offers a visual indication to the buyer that it makes sense to wait a few days (no faker).
Being able to indicate 'received' without additional fuss is also reassuring. That the merchandise can only be viewed the following weekend to provide an evaluation or other feedback, at least the seller is already reassured: it is already at its destination.
And in the overview you can go through order per order (both buyer and seller) to see where something is lagging behind (too little color in the series).
In short: 'say it with color' (in the icons) :)

Also having a 'Received' pictogram colored up offers advantages.
As a scatterbrain, I have already succeeded twice in giving positive feedback to a seller where I have not yet received the goods (stamps of course). received from. I see the link for the feedback (it only appears as a link after a few days) and then I click on it. Although it is the stamps of the order above (from another shop) that arrived (but where the link is not there yet). It is simply the case that sometimes a more recent order is completed faster than the previous one. You never know what's going on there. With Covid, more people have come to realize this, but not everyone.
I understand the intention that the link to feedback is not immediately active. With a few days of waiting, however, a lot can jump into the head of someone who is actively and intensively busy with several things. With another half and a few children on top of that, there are also plenty of jammers :)

If you can give a color to 'receive', regardless of the time, then waiting (until feedback becomes possible) is no longer so very. Almost impossible to give feedback before you have received something.

It would be very nice if there was a button with which a buyer could indicate that he / she has made his / her payment, I do not have to check every hour at my bank ...

In practice, does the buyer almost always send a message when he has paid Morits? (I always do)

Admit it, Rene, a button is so easy for both parties.
For the buyer, sending a message is a way that may be perceived as too long for many. Happiness may only lie 'one click away' in the current digital age.
For the seller, it is also very clear if there is an indication on the purchase screen with every invoice. You don't have to mess around in the message folder.

Ok, I would expect a message to be sent most of the time. Thanks for the feedback.

We will discuss adding such a button. It does get a bit more complex because then you get a "status" of the order on 2 sides (buyer and seller) while that is now only on 1 side (only the seller indicates the status).

Raoul62, at one point Marco and I got so many messages through our profile page that we turned that off for us because we couldn't get through the messages anymore. We will soon be working on the profile page, then we will also take a look at this error message, etc.

And you believe him / her for his / her beautiful blue eyes?

The point is that you get a signal that the payment has been made, then you can check this.

you do not quite understand, when I get that signal I will of course see if it has indeed been credited. That saves me 10 times a day looking at the bank to see if it has been credited yes or no.
You are a bit of a black eye .. unfortunately
Did you really think that the result would have as a buyer for nothing would indicate that payment has been made ...
