Please have the option in the "Excel list" to include the columns "Purchase date" and "Purchased before".

If you click on export, you have to confirm again and this answer comes:

Export Comics Collection

The export is being made! You will receive an email as soon as the export is ready. It may take a while if the site is busy.

And then you should find everything in your mailbox. Sometimes wait a while.

Good luck, and if it doesn't work, ask again.

Just check if you are looking at the correct email address (same as you entered here at Catawiki).

Otherwise, take a look at your spam, it could also end up there.

I just tried again myself and within 30 seconds I had everything.

Hello, Export excel Stamps

First of all, hats off to all Catawiki employees. It's a hugely exciting tool for keeping track of my collection.

The Flat list contains the same field twice, namely 'catalog value'. On the other hand, the field 'Use type' such as 'Franking', 'Airmail', 'postage' etc ... The list contains all those stamps together and that is not useful.

Can someone correct that ?

Many thanks in advance.

Joe

It is on the list to scrutinize and correct all Excel sheets. I can't put a date on it yet, but I'll start with the largest sections.

What do you mean by walking by critically? Is that cosmetic or content? I also hope substantively. As a thematic collector of stamps I find the fields depicted on stamp and theme / motif an absolute necessity in an excel file. Then I can classify my stamps by animal group again, instead of by country, as now. I now do that manually, but it will take me over a year. A waste of my time, because it could have happened in no time at the touch of a button.

Catalog value is indeed listed twice. I thought MNH and canceled, but the values in both columns are identical. Furthermore, I had the countries included in a total overview. After selection by theme sea animals again not. So the excel file seems to depend on the starting position. I'm curious about the changes.

I mean that I am going to add the fields per sheet that are missing and roughly necessary for the relevant section. And I'm going to take out the mistakes. I have yet to get started, but I have already encountered quite a few mistakes ..

What would be cool, but now I probably continue, is if you run an excel you can tick what you want in it :)

Yes, being completely flexible would be nice, but this is too big a step. It is already the case that you can export parts of your collection, but that is limited to using the filters in your collection.

Hello,

please note that when exporting a comic collection, the edition field is displayed as follows:

in the catalog: 2500 == & gt; in excel: 2500

in the catalog: 25.000 == & gt; in excel: 25

The point in the catalog is considered a decimal character in the excel file.

Now I wonder: can this be changed in the export so that 25,000 "25000" remains? Or must the circulation figures be noted in the catalog without a decimal sign (eg "25000"). In that case I can already adjust the items in my collection in the catalog. But before taking that action, I will first wait for a response.

Well spotted, Theodoor!

Did a test with. and Jilles' trick with the check mark in cell properties doesn't seem to work, because the English-language automatic export system only writes the numbers for the. physically in Excel. Since we are multilingual, it seems useful to me to enter numbers everywhere without a dot from now on. Print runs are generally only important or are generally only entered for limited editions. So I suspect that the number of manual adjustments will not be very large.

N.B. This issue is only now popping up because the Circulation field was recently added to the Comics and Books exports.

It is considerably more work for stamps. I would choose, if possible, to have it changed automatically. Otherwise, I would rather question the circulation field than adjust everything manually. Because for me as a collector, the field edition of 0 is of no value. It seems more like something for the seller to see if an item is general and to help determine the price.

There are no plans to export the print run at Stamps, so the problem will not be visible there.

Arco,

when a print run number is mentioned with a comic, it is indeed usually limited print runs (between 500 and 2500) and these were usually not registered with a decimal sign. The decimal sign is only used for print runs of 10,000 copies or more. The result is indeed that the number of manual adjustments, consisting of removing the decimal sign, is very limited.

In my collection (currently 3300 items) there were 25 items of which I was able to adjust 21 myself (namely 19 items Comic guide 2nd series, 1 item Zozolala and 1 item Storm).

4 items that I could not adjust myself because of "frozen":

Comic guide 2nd series number 30 = Catawiki item 2877925

Blake & amp; Mortimer - De Zaak Francis Blake = Catawiki item 34237

January Jones - Death ride to Monte Carlo = Catawiki item 45851

Suske en Wiske - Ciso-album Het Vliegende Hart = Catawiki item 26794

If someone more empowered would take this to heart ... Thanks.

Hello Arco,

First of all a compliment for the handy site to register the comic collection.

I was wondering if the schedule is already known when the columns "Purchase date" and "Bought for" (already requested by Bert in 2011) can be added.

Thanks in advance and keep it up!
