Problems and/or other reactions to this topic? Then please report this or post it in the subforum 'Problems with the site' .

10-29-20 We have created an autocomplete function for the search engine and it will soon be live for desktop users. It will also be available soon for mobile devices. With this function you can often jump even faster to the items or categories you are looking for.

10/28/20 Okay folks, thanks to the group that has been testing with us over the past period, we just put the new completely refreshed item detail page live.

There are two main changes:

1. Putting items in your shop, collection or search list is no longer on the right in one block, but at the top with its own buttons.

2. All other menu options are no longer on the side, but behind the orange option button, diagonally below the images.

There are also three novelties:

1. At the top of the tab with all collectors is a link to your own copy, if you have the item.

2. If you click on 'all collectors' you will now also see the number of copies in private collections.

3. You will immediately see image 1 larger than before. Clicking on it gives an enlargement and then you can click through to zoom in. Under image 1 you can choose to view any other images. On mobile devices you can swipe between the different images.

Have fun with it!

05-10-20 We are proud to have just launched a new search engine. Over the past few weeks, it has been extensively tested by a number of users and administrators. The problems that still arose have now been resolved. An important change is that instead of a maximum of 3 catalog sections, you now see a maximum of 15 and also more prominently displayed. Because we prefer to guide users towards an orderly gallery as quickly as possible. In addition, we have now also introduced the option to show image 3 in the grid view and you can sort by 'recently modified'.

11-09-20 The Android app is live! Existing users of CW Collect! automatically get an update. And the latest bugs have been removed from the IOS app. Update is on its way.

02-09-20 The LastDodo app for IOS is live! Existing users of CW Collect! automatically get an update. Android will follow soon.

11-08-20 The AZ page of areas has just been updated. The numbers per area are now also visible.

10-08-20 The software that makes it possible to open shops worldwide has just been put live. All functionality that was removed at the end of 2015 is back. Yippee!

31-07-20 As of today, it is again possible for all Dutch speakers to open a shop on the .nl domain. Worldwide this function will follow later.

24-07-20 Today the new FAQ and Contact pages went live. Now we need to add/correct/translate... until we are completely satisfied.

23-07-20 As of today we use the LastDodo domains language oriented. That means: .nl for Dutch speakers, .fr for French speakers, .de for German speakers and .com for foreign speakers. This means that .be will expire. Belgian users can now choose between .nl or .fr. This solves various control problems for us in one fell swoop.

02-07-20 LastDodo is live! What are the first changes?

1. Homepage renewed. At the 'jobs' with info on the page you can now see more items by clicking on the left/right arrows or by swiping on a touch screen. And we show popular auctions and auction lots from our partner Catawiki.

2. Section pages updated with roughly the same specs as the homepage.

3. All pages: Large categories are now immediately visible under the 'header' at the top. For convenience, we have also placed a shopping cart icon at the top so that you have a quick overview of current affairs.

4. Refreshed drop-down menu at the top right. Via the Settings function you can access all functions that used to be under the name 'Catalogue profile' at the top of the page.

5. Of course, the 'footer' at the bottom contains all the information that belongs to LastDodo.

6. We have abolished stock market reports. They can also be found on other sites and we want to do things that we think are unique.

19-03-20 Slowly you will see that the dropdown menu in the top right is stripped of the auction options. This in the context of completely cutting loose from the collector platform. For the auction options, click on the Catawiki logo in the top left and then on their own drop-down menu in the top right.

20-08-18 Some time ago Catawiki disabled the option to choose a username when creating a new account. Usernames will be automatically generated as user-xxxxxxxx from then on. Quite confusing for the collector platform.

We have just put live a change that ensures that those users must choose a unique nickname as soon as they also want to join our community. That nickname will eventually be used everywhere on our platform instead of the profile name. Nothing changes for existing users. Their nickname becomes the same as their profile name. You can find the nickname in the catalog profile.

27-07-18 The forum got a new URL. Those who have it in their bookmarks / favorites are advised to adjust it there.

08-05-18 Changes made to catalog profile due to new privacy law of 25 May 2018.

03-04-18 Change implemented at shops, so that in addition to the feedback score of the shop sales, the feedback score of the auctions is now also shown and clickable.

06-02-18 Catalog profile has been completely revised and refreshed. All functions are now available there. Certain functions from the drop-down menu at the top right may be discontinued in the future.

31-08-16 Version 2.2 of the Android app will be placed in the Google Play Store today or tomorrow. An issue with a broken menu icon has been resolved.

8/27/16 Since shopping carts are only used on the Collector's platform, the link to the filled shopping carts has been moved to the Catalog profile. He's at the very top.

04-08-16 The personal settings for the catalog can now be reached via a link at the bottom of the 'My profile' page.

21-04-16 Last night we aligned and refreshed (almost) all headers on the site. For example, the search bar is in a better place. There was also a lot of demand for this on the Collector's Platform because you were very quickly accidentally clicking other functions with your mouse or fingers. Did we forget something? Do you see crazy things? Please report!

21-03-16 Users with a shop will now see an image of one of the items from that order with their orders.

06-11-15 From now on it is no longer possible to open a new shop.

15-09-15 From now on, users who are only active on auctions will no longer see payment options for PayPal and iDeal in their profile. Some providers were confused by this. Users of the Collector's Platform always see PayPal, and iDeal only if they have a Pro shop.

30-06-15 As of today the free app 'CW Collect!' in Apple's App Store. With this tool you can download your collection and search list to your iPhone or iPad and have everything with you at all times, even in places without WiFi.

5/19/15 An update was made today for the layout of web pages on mobile devices. Catawiki can therefore now look something different on it than you were used to.

12/30/14 Last night a new feature was added to the entire catalog that I'm very excited about and that I've already mentioned several times: the flip tool. In each gallery, on the far right in the black bar below the filters, there is an option to see image 2 of that entire gallery in one fell swoop. And flip back again if you want. As soon as you make a new selection via the filters, image 1 is always started.

We have added the same function in the top left of the new items per category. There it is - as I noticed during testing - especially useful for administrators, who without having to click open items can see per 40 items whether image 2 meets the input conditions of that section. The 'rotten medlars' immediately catch the eye, so the importers can be emailed more quickly or the items can be rejected more quickly.

We'd love to hear what you think of it and if you're still experiencing problems using it.

11-11-14 Adjustments have been made to the forum, so that the keyboard also appears on mobile devices with IOS8.1. This means that the maintenance of the forum has come to an end for the time being.

05-11-14 Today a new forum editor has been launched which should work better than the previous one. For example, placing links (was a problem with W7 IE11) should be possible again. Users who have reported problems: go to the forum, do Shift-F5 and please test it...

Some time ago, when creating a new account, Catawiki turned off the function to choose a username yourself. Usernames are automatically generated as user-xxxxxxxx from then on. Rather unclear for the collectors platform.

We just released a change that will require those users to choose a unique nickname as soon as they want to join our community. That nickname will eventually be used everywhere on our platform instead of the profile name. Nothing will change for existing users. Their nickname will be the same as their profile name. 6. We have abolished stock market reports. They can be found on other sites too and we want to do things that we think are unique.

Starting today, we'll be using the LastDodo domains language-oriented. That means: .nl for Dutch speakers, .fr for French speakers, .de for German speakers and .com for non-native speakers. This means that .be will be canceled. Belgian users can now choose .nl or .fr. This solves various management problems for us in one fell swoop.
