Dear all

I have 9 copies of Chris Ware's The Acme Novelty Library. I find it difficult to determine the printing process. To my knowledge issue is English for print run. But Ware also uses this designation to indicate the serial number. Furthermore, there is also the term Volume, but it is often the same as the serial number. Who can give me a definite answer, I am sure thank you very much

Volume says nothing about the print run anyway, because it is a kind of cross between "year" and "series". An issue is clearly not useful here either.

It would help if you tell which songs are involved, who the publisher is and what price is on the cover. Especially the latter is often a good indication of the pressure in comic-like publications. Indeed, some parts of Acme Novelty Library have been reprinted.
