What do you understand by war art? Art made during the war?

During the war you yourself had different movements, so you would bring a lot of art forms under one heading, while it was not the same. Entartete Kunst is also such a collective name.

A few things.

Can the option art print or similar be added to " Art object "?

Artprint is not a printing form, like screen printing and engraving, for example.

At " Art movement / style" please add war art.

For me war art is about war scenes.

The subject of a work of art is by definition not an art movement.

What is also important for this section is that at some point it will be divided into more specialized sections such as paintings, sculptures and the like.

The point is that on the one hand you can endlessly discuss whether something is art or not, and on the other hand all kinds of different objects can fall under art.

No, that's clear, Arwin. But it is an addition to "art object" and not printing technique. Engravings and screen prints are also art prints.

War art actually falls under realism, war art is the composition. At least, as far as I know.

No, this Cubist painting by Picasso is also war art.

It's about the bombing of Guernica by the Germans and Italians.

Composition is more the arrangement of the painting.
War is just the subject (or theme if you like) nothing else.

Engravings and screen prints are also art prints.

That's actually what I mean, "art print" is too general.
Especially since g ravures and silkscreens are already included.
It's redundant, and quite a vague term.
