See https://www.lastdodo.nl/nl/areas/190067-margriet-jeugdbibliotheek

I have added some (humorous) Hans G Kresse illustrations to #16874 .
Still finds it strange that only a few titles in the series were released with dust jackets. After all, the bindings themselves are boring for children's books.
I think Jilles said something about it at some point, but I can't find it anymore.
I assume Jilles will take a look, perhaps other experts also know something about it

I actually only know Reinaert's dust jacket.

I don't think these books needed a fancy binding. They were promoted through the weekly magazine Margriet (and related magazines) and probably ordered as "recommended reading" by the parents, rather than because the children asked for them.

Boekenmagazijn Jilles

Thank you! That was indeed it, Jilles had told me some time ago with a picture of such an advertisement. There is no better proof. I was lost for a moment. However, some have also appeared with SO.

Margriet 41 of October 10, 1959 (via Delpher):

"Hans Kresse again provided the beautiful prints and this time also a colorful dust jacket."

Quite strange, the advertisement shows the book binding without the dust jacket, but it is good that you specifically cut out the text with "Hans Kresse also provided a colorful dust jacket this time ".
So confirms that this was not the case with previous parts.
