Klopt het dat de DD's vanaf no 1 2024 zonder plastic hoesje en met NAW opdruk op de achterkant worden verzonden? Zo ja dat is wel erg jammer.

Is it true that the DDs will be shipped without a plastic cover and with name and address print on the back from 1 2024? If so, that's a shame.

@ harry ja dit klopt ivm besparing op plastic bij dpg media eerst als proef gestart bij nr 43/2023 met adresgegevens erop gedrukt deze hebben een afwijkende achterkant gaat om de nrs 43/44/45/46/48/50/51/52 nrs 47 en 49 zijn in witte adres envelop verschenen na duizenden klachten aan het adres van dpg media hebben ze de zaak enigzins teruggedraaid waardoor de donald duck nu op 3 manieren verschijnt (gewoon in seal met adreskaartje erin blanco achterkant dit wel aangeven bij afsluiten abonnement.) (2)( los blad met adresgegevens erop gedrukt)(3)( bij pocketabonnement in witte envelopmet adres erop)(4)( los in de winkel met blanco achterkant)

@ harry yes this is correct due to savings on plastic with DPG media, first started as a test at no. 43/2023 with address details printed on it, these have a different back, these are nos. 43/44/45/46/48/50/51/52 nos. 47 and 49 appeared in a white address envelope. After thousands of complaints to DPG Media, they have reversed the matter somewhat, so that the Donald Duck now appears in 3 ways (simply in a seal with an address card in it, blank back. Please indicate this when taking out a subscription.) (2)( loose sheet with address details printed on it)(3)( with paperback subscription in white envelope with address on it)(4)( loose in the store with blank back)

Dank voor de duidelijke uitleg. 

Wie verzint zoiets bij dat grote mediaconcern.. Dus er is al een klachtenstroom geweest. 
 
Al zou je Donald Ducks niet verzamelen en slechts voor je kinderen ( of jezelf) een abonnement hebben, is dit niet leuk. Donald Duck is zeker niet goedkoop. Dat het concern aan de regelgeving" Plastic de Wereld uit " de best doet, prima, echter standaard kan er toch wel een envelop of zo om en juist geen enkele NAW op een blad gedrukt. En  een blanco rechthoekje op een achterkant?  
En het alternatief op 3 manieren is wel hilarisch.. 

Als verkoper en/of koper verzamelaar moet er nu ook gelet worden op dat NAW gedoe. Is het niet handig bij de info pagina bovenaan iets te schrijven over dat adres dingetje? Niet dat iedereen dat leest, echter voordat je het weet ontvangen kopers iets wat ze niet verwachten. Er zijn veel ( zo niet alle)  verzamelaars die NAW stickers op stripbladen ( vroeger was dat ook een tijdje het geval bij DD's en Suske Wiske weekblad ) laat staan NAW opdruk, niet in hun collectie willen.  Ik wil dat ook best doen, echter ben eerst benieuwd of de stripbeheerders een idee hebben. 

Tot slot: hoe zou je een Donald Duck , hoe nieuw ook, met NAW gedrukt , moeten kwalificeren?

Who would come up with something like that at that large media group... So there has already been a flow of complaints.

Even if you didn't collect Donald Ducks and only had a subscription for your children (or yourself), this wouldn't be fun. Donald Duck is certainly not cheap. It's fine that the group is doing its best to comply with the "Plastic Out of the World" regulations, but as standard there can be an envelope or something around it and not a single name and address printed on a sheet. And a blank rectangle on a back?
And the 3-way alternative is hilarious...

As a seller and/or buyer collector, you now also have to pay attention to that name and address stuff. Wouldn't it be useful to write something about that address thing on the info page at the top? Not that everyone reads that, but before you know it, buyers receive something they do not expect. There are many (if not all) collectors who do not want name and address stickers on comic magazines (this used to be the case for a while with DD's and Suske Wiske weekly), let alone name and address print, in their collection. I'd like to do that too, but I'm curious first if the comic strip administrators have any ideas.

Finally: how should you qualify a Donald Duck, no matter how new, with name and address printed?

Ook Tina wordt tegenwoordig helaas zo verzonden, los zonder iets eromheen en een adres geprint op de achterkant. Alleen als er een losse bijlage (meestal reclame) bij zit, komt hij in een envelop. 

Unfortunately, Tina is also shipped that way these days, loose without anything around it and an address printed on the back. Only if there is a separate attachment (usually advertising) will it be placed in an envelope.

Ik hoop dat er nog veel meer klanten komen. Ik kreeg dit blad thuis bezorgd door de postbode in de stromende regen. Blad is dus totaal verpest, moet je weer melden, afwachten tot je een andere krijgt. Die nalevering zit wel keurig in plastic. Het wordt steeds gekker.

Ja, deze ervaring heb ik dus ook al gehad, keurig exemplaar in de regen. Als je dan gaat klagen krijg je hopelijk een nieuw exemplaar keurig in plastic. Dat noemen ze dan besparing!

Ja, erg belangrijk vindt de uitgeverij zijn eigen producten kennelijk niet. Ik heb een buitenbus, dus elke keer dat het regent op een bezorgdag is het weer een hele toer om het blad droog in huis te krijgen (hopen dat er ook een krant in de bus zit om het blad daarin te vouwen, dat werk). Ik heb ook weleens een nummer verpest doordat er, eenmaal binnen, druppels van mijn haren op het blad vielen. Grrrr!  

Yes, the publisher apparently does not consider its own products very important. I have an outdoor van, so every time it rains on a delivery day it is quite a challenge to get the magazine dry into the house (hope that there is also a newspaper in the van to fold the magazine in, that works). I have also sometimes ruined a song because, once inside, drops of my hair fell onto the page. Grrrr!

Aha, top! Ik ben benieuwd of dit iets eenmaligs is of dat je het blad voortaan zo krijgt, want als dat laatste het geval is, ga ik ook contact met ze opnemen.

De Ducks welke ik vroeger nog toegezonden kreeg in plastic hoesjes zijn eigenlijk allen ( wonderbaarlijk)  netjes in de brievenbus beland. En deze ene in een dun papieren envelopje  is wel netjes door de postbode in de brievenbus gedaan, echter wanneer dat op de vloer ploft deukt dat dus veel eerder dan zo n plasticje. En als het regent ttv bezorgen tja het is net vloeipapier.. Chapeau voor onze zorgvuldige postbezorgers, door weer en wind, dat mag ook wel eens gezegd worden. 
 
Als verzamelaar met wens absolute nieuwstaat en geen NAW gegevens op de achterkant zou je eigenlijk in een stripwinkel of bij een Primera of andere bladenboer de Ducks moeten aanschaffen.

The Ducks that I used to receive in plastic sleeves actually all ended up (miraculously) neatly in the mailbox. And this one in a thin paper envelope was neatly placed in the letterbox by the postman, but when it plops on the floor it dents much sooner than such a plastic one. And when it rains, TTV delivery, well, it's just like tissue paper... Congratulations to our careful mail deliverers, through all kinds of weather, that may also be said.

As a collector who wants absolute new condition and no name and address information on the back, you should actually buy the Ducks in a comic shop or from a Primera or other magazine dealer.

nee hoor, dat is niet eenmalig, tenzij je aangeeft dat je je Duck in seal wilt ontvangen, krijg je het nummer standaard met adresopdruk, alleen als er een "bijlage" bij zit, zoals dus bij nr. 9 het geval was, krijg je je Duck in desbetreffende papieren verpakking.

no, that is not a one-off, unless you indicate that you want to receive your Duck in seal, you will receive the number with address print as standard, only if there is an "attachment", as was the case with number 9, you will receive your Duck in the appropriate paper packaging.
