Coins/Please provide front, rear and edge photos of your coins

Hi everyone, I notice almost all coins for sale here do not have original photos. Instead of that, sellers simply use standard photos from other catalogue, which do not represent the real condition of the respective coins. This is very frustrating to see. It is important for serious collectors to know the real quality and condition of coins that they want to buy. It does not matter even the value or price of a coin just a few cents of pennies. I hope all sellers could kindly to put the real photos (front, back and edge views) of their coins when offering them for sale.  Thanks.

Hallo allemaal, het valt mij op dat bijna alle munten die hier te koop zijn, geen originele foto's hebben. In plaats daarvan gebruiken verkopers eenvoudigweg standaardfoto's uit andere catalogi, die niet de werkelijke staat van de betreffende munten weergeven. Dit is erg frustrerend om te zien. Het is belangrijk voor serieuze verzamelaars om de echte kwaliteit en staat te kennen van de munten die ze willen kopen. Het maakt niet eens uit wat de waarde of prijs van een munt is, slechts een paar centen. Ik hoop dat alle verkopers zo vriendelijk willen zijn om de echte foto's (voor-, achter- en randaanzichten) van hun munten te plaatsen wanneer ze deze te koop aanbieden. Bedankt.

You are right that not using your own photos/scans, makes it less reliable.
But that is the seller's voluntary choice, as well as the buyer's choice whether or not to buy such an item.

Maar dat is de vrijwillige keuze van de verkoper, evenals de keuze van de koper om zo'n artikel wel of niet te kopen.
