The fifth part of Betelgeuse is in quite a few people's collections.
The album now in the catalog is the first edition, but has the back of a reprint as an image, entered by user Str1pcatalogus.
I don't have a reprint, so I can't import it, so ask Str1pcatalogus: do you want to enter part 5 as a new item, with number 5b and then add your scans back to it? Also pay attention to the year (bottom line in the colophon, not the copyright year).
I will replace the back of volume 5 with that of the 1st edition.
People who have the book in their collection should therefore take a look at what pressure they have and possibly "rebook".

At the request of Arco, the reprint of Betelgeuze 5 has been introduced as a new item.
M.b.t. the year is in the reprint (so the album in my possession) 2005, both as copyright year and year in the very bottom line of the colophon. .
So for those who know the correct year ?!
Finally, a note about the pressure . It is possible to enter 1st, 2nd, 3rd and reprint. But in most albums it is not indicated which edition it concerns, while on the one hand you already know that it cannot be the 1st edition but on the other hand you cannot determine whether it is a second or later edition.

Thank you, cata!
In the cases outlined by you, I will stick to 'reprint'.
I will only use second or third edition if I am sure, or if there is no other option .

Is it necessary to include that reprint?
I have only recorded first editions of a particular album series or publisher unless a reprint was interesting to mention for some reason. eg another cover, publisher or to clarify how to recognize a first edition.
If you want to include all reprints of sus en wis, for example, you will have to add another million books, I'm afraid.

Then explain to me, Peter, how I should include the reprints that I have in my collection in a different way?
And Catawiki is only going to print up to 3 prints by the way. After that everything is called "Reprint".
As far as I am concerned, 1st edition and reprint is sufficient, but with some series 2nd and 3rd editions also seem to make a financial difference for collectors.
As far as Betelgeuse is concerned, it is apparently still necessary, because if I understand cata correctly, only the back is different and the publisher has made a mess of it inside.
